- Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Are Our Fall Outfit Mood in Matching Knits and Masksby Sarah Wasilak on September 22, 2021
Let's just use this moment to salute parents Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas for their in-sync street style. The duo were spotted out in New York City rocking ribbed knits, aka the trend du jour. Their casual takes - Sophie's a breezy short-sleeve mint cardigan and Joe's a waffle pattern with chartreuse stripes - were finished appropriately with slacks and sneakers. While Sophie was in distressed, low-slung denim and her Air Force 1s, Joe chose a structured, belted trouser and Vans. Both were smart to keep their face masks on hand, although Sophie also accessorized with some pastel accessories you might notice, like her leather hobo tote and lucite sunglasses. Of course, the icing on the cake here is Sophie's dad hat, some merch from the Jonas Brothers "Remember This" tour, which is available to pre-order for $35 and will surely match with any of the inspired sweaters and polos we rounded up that fit the retro bill Sophie and Joe have ordered. Ahead, see a few more angles of their looks, then shop the trend that anyone can pull off as we make the transition to fall. - 35 Wearable Outfits to Try From the Street Style at London Fashion Weekby Kara Kia on September 22, 2021
London Fashion Week is back for physical events, showroom appointments, and the best of the city's street style. At the spring/summer 2022 shows, attendees were spotted in bold prints and colourful outfits to celebrate the return of the catwalks. From the best of LFW street style, we handpicked nine fashion trends that showgoers are loving. It seems Bridgerton and The Queen's Gambit had more of a sartorial effect on us than we realized. According to London's style set, corsets and check prints are here to stay well into spring 2022. Attendees are also keen on blazers, tailored trousers, and statement leather pieces. Blazers and chinos lend themselves to a corporate aesthetic that signals a return to the office. And statement leather pieces, like slick trousers, a smart pencil skirt, or a cool blazer, are a trend we've been seeing more of at LFW. Joyful dressing is another look to keep an eye on, either vibrant, painterly colors that lift the mood, like a yellow dress, red coat, or green suit, or clashing printed pieces that are styled together for a uniquely eclectic look - try florals with check prints. Our list couldn't be complete without '70s revival, and it seems the denim of choice for 2022 is straight, wide-leg jeans. Accessories wise, retro, yellow-tinted sunglasses have charmed not only London's style set but also fashion-lovers in Copenhagen and New York. Keep reading for our favorite street style outfits from London Fashion Week spring/summer 2022.
- This Sustainable Fashion Brand Makes My New Favorite Cozy Clothesby Renee Rodriguez on September 22, 2021
I'm obsessed with loungewear - there's really no other way to put it. Whether it's scouring Amazon for its latest cute sets or scrolling my Instagram feed for inspiration, basics I can relax in are my most purchased product. I recently tried a new brand called Pact, a clothing company focused on producing affordable, sustainable, quality clothing, and I have to say - I'm impressed. Pact has tons of amazing clothing options, but keep scrolling to see the products I can't stop wearing on repeat. I'm a sucker for pajama sets, and I typically add them to the top of my holiday wish list every year. I tend to opt for sets that offer tanks and shorts because I get hot while sleeping, and I found the perfect set with Pact's Flirt Hem Sleep Set ($36). The first thing I noticed was the color, which was absolutely stunning, even more so in person than online. The next thing I noticed was how soft the set was - the material honestly felt like butter against my skin. After sleeping in them repeatedly, I can confirm that not only are they super soft and comfortable, but the material is breathable as well. This pair of PJs has quickly made its way to the top of my list of favorites, and I'm already planning on buying a few more in different colors. I've always been a big fan of rompers, and Pact's Hemp Blend Leisure Romper ($45) is no exception. I wore this romper on a recent road trip to LA, and it was so convenient and comfortable, I already want it in more colors. I've actually worn it more than four times since I got it, and while it's my new favorite piece of clothing for lounging around the house, I've also worn it out on a couple of occasions. Paired with a denim jacket and cute sneakers, this romper is perfect for running errands or grabbing a quick bite to eat with my friends. I typically judge my clothing purchases on three things. I want to purchase items that are affordable, good quality, and, of course, cute. Pact scores a 10/10 in all three categories. Its products are exceptionally affordable for the quality, which is amazing. I always wait to judge quality after a first pass through the washing machine, because I've found that washing clothes can really determine how well they were made. Washing my Pact items only made them softer, if anything, and they look as good as they did on the day I first got them. All of Pact's products are made with organic cotton, and the brand partners with Fair Trade Certified factories. The bottom line is that Pact will definitely be my new go-to brand for basics. I'm absolutely planning on adding another one of their sleep sets to my holiday wish list, and I'm already eyeing a new arrival (a super-cute utility jumpsuit) for fall. If you're looking for a clothing brand that makes cute clothing you can feel great about purchasing, look no further than Pact!
- We Can't Get Over These Fierce Charlotte Knowles Pants, Spotted on Ciara and Lori Harveyby Shelcy Joseph on September 22, 2021
Every now and then, two or more celebrities are spotted wearing the same item of clothing, which tells us it should immediately be on our radar. The latest It-design to hit celebrity street style? A slinky pair of Charlotte Knowles cutout pants from the fall 2021 runway. Ciara and Lori Harvey, both trendsetters in their own right (just look at Ciara's Met Gala dress or Lori Harvey's date-night looks), are known to stir conversations about their personal style. The singer and model looked fierce in the London-based label's daring creation, while living their best lives (Ciara on a baecation in Italy, and Lori out and about in Los Angeles). The duo might have been spotted in the same designer pants, but they definitely made them their own. We love the way they dialed up the sexiness with equally attractive tops, and we shall never forget these outfits. - Lady Gaga Was the First to Score a Valentino-Logo "Vaccinated" Hoodie - but She Won't Be the Lastby Sarah Wasilak on September 22, 2021
Fans of Lady Gaga and Valentino were probably quick to notice the "Vaccinated" hoodie she wore in late August to promote her beauty campaign for the label. The video posted to her Instagram feed was a quick peek at one of the five sweatshirts created by streetwear brand and pop culture sensation Cloney, with a riff on Valentino's "V" logo. Originally, only five were created, all of which were bought by Valentino Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli himself to distribute among friends. But Piccioli has chosen to carry out the trend and create his own version for valentino.com, the (V) Vaccinated hoodie, with all net profits donated to UNICEF in support of the organization's global COVAX program. "Getting vaccinated has become the most effective way to fight this global pandemic, as well as a symbol of respect for others and social responsibility," the designer stated in a press release. "One cannot hide behind the concept of freedom by deciding not to get vaccinated. Freedom must always be protected, and we must all fight for freedom but respecting others: the freedom to be ourselves, the freedom of thought, the freedom of love, the freedom to express and fight for our own ideas. Unfortunately, not all countries have equal access to COVID-19 vaccines. With this collaboration, Valentino supports UNICEF in the delivery efforts of life-saving COVID-19 vaccines." Even though Gaga already owns one of the Cloney pieces, we've got a feeling Piccioli will save her a second hoodie from the new collab with the Valentino tag once they hit the site and are available to the public. Watch this space, and we'll let you know when you can support the cause. In the meantime, look ahead to see some close-ups of the fresh iteration Valentino and Cloney have in store for us. - Just a Warning: You'll Need More Than 2 Hands to Count the Cutouts on Tinashe's Sexy Dressby Perri Konecky on September 21, 2021
Tinashe might be busy touring around the country on her 333 Tour, but there's always time for sexy photo shoots. The "Bouncin" singer recently posed for a series of Instagram photos wearing a dress from Poster Girl, and it screams Y2K chic. Tinashe is known to love a cutout ensemble, as we saw with the yellow bedazzled leotard she wore earlier this month, and the stretchy material of her latest outfit looks like the perfect blend of comfortable and flattering. The asymmetrical, baby-blue dress features round cutouts on the chest separated by cute heart-shaped crystals and cutouts down both sides. Tinashe paired the dress with lilac Kat Maconie Ozora heels, solidifying her title as a pastel princess. If you're scratching your head wondering why this outfit looks so familiar, it's possibly because celebrities like Dua Lipa, Jordyn Woods, and Megan Fox are big fans of the sexy London brand, and it's no mystery why - just look at those cutouts! Tinashe's exact dress is from the brand's AW21 collection, and while it unfortunately is not available to shop online, there are many similar styles of the same flattering material available. Check out photos of Tinashe in the super-hot cutout dress ahead, and shop a similar option for yourself. Related: Wow, These 26 Midi Dresses Will Take Your Fall Style to the Next Freakin' Level!
