ROUND 1
Every band that enters will participate in the first round and 75% of those bands will advance to the second round. The number of first round shows will be determined by the number of entrants. The first round shows will consist of three ( one show may have 4 based on the number of entrants) bands per show. For the first round, the winners are determined 100% by in house voting. The band that receives the most in house votes on their night will automatically move on to the second round. The remaining two bands will be placed in the pool based on the number of votes they received. The nightly winners along with the top bands in the pool who make up the 75% will move on to the second round. Every person who pays admission will have a wristband placed around their wrist. When they are ready to cast their vote, they will make their way to the table by the front door, their wristband will be removed and they will be given a ballot which has to be filled out at that time and placed in the ballot box.
ROUND 2
The Top 75% will participate in the second round and eight bands will advance to the semi-finals. The second round shows will also consist of 3 bands per show with a possibility of one four band night based on the number of bands that advance from the first round. The second round also sees the introduction of the judges into the scoring. The judges scores will be sixty percent of each bands score and in house voting, which will be done exactly the same way throughout the competition, will be forty percent. In the second round all bands go into the pool based on their overall score and the top eight bands advance to the semi-finals.
SEMI FINALS
The top eight bands from the 2nd round based on overall score will advance to the semifinal round. The Semi Finals will consist of two shows with each show having four bands on the lineup. The scoring remains the same 60% judges and %40 in house votes. The top four highest scoring bands will move on to the Finals. The bands will draw straws at 7:30pm and the first band will take the stage at 8:30pm.
Finals
The top four bands based on overall score move on to the finals. The Finals are a single show in which all four bands will play. The scoring for the Finals changes to 75% Judges and 25% in house voting. The bands will draw straws at 7pm and the previous years winner will open the show at 8pm with the finalists playing their sets at 9pm, 10pm,11pm and 12am. After the final set is played and voting is closed we will count the votes and judges scores and announce the winners.
