[blockquote author=”Jessica Montour, Fashion Forward”]Watching the runway and listening to the performing artists’ lyrics was equivalent to peeking inside the souls of gifted creatives…moving, diverse, unique.[/blockquote]
Delmy Gooch of DGARAY packed the house at Cluster Studios for her Timeless Beauty fashion show and print launch. The production was a true collaboration of local fashion industry movers and shakers. The well-rounded runway featured bridal gowns to street wear and everything in-between.
Each designer told a story…their story of how they see beauty or what they consider most beautiful. The overarching story of a collection, however, is not necessarily always in a fabric or the type of stitch that holds a garment together. Artists are sponges and are often overwhelmingly inspired by life experiences and bigger picture visions. It is this inspiration that fuels their work and gives life to an end product for all of us to enjoy.
This is true for DGARAY which is notably a culmination of life experiences sprinkled with a bit of travel and even some cardio! DGARAY is a real-life journey familiar to most…and yes, just know that there will be challenges that drip into our lives along the way.
[blockquote author=”Delmy Gooch”]It was beautiful to see everyone come together and create art,[/blockquote]
“I’m humbled and blessed by all the love and support through this journey,” she concluded.
DGARAY will soon be releasing their second edition in print which is an oversized and color filled book of artistic magic. You won’t want to miss it. Browse our gallery of the amazing photography taken by National Fashion Photographer, Teddy G, from the launch party.
