Thank you for taking interest in XMAG! Being published exposes your work in countries and cities around the world. We review new submissions regularly and we will get back to you regarding your submission status and if we are interested in publishing your story. When submitting please follow the guidelines outlined on this page.

 

1 – Please remember to ALWAYS give proper credit where it is due. If you used a designer, makeup, hair, assistants, etc. do not forget to list them!

 

2 – Submissions are reviewed based on content, quality, relevance and the availability of space in the issue its being submitted to be published. We do not pay for submissions. Furthermore we do not provide complimentary print copies for featured submissions. We reserve the right to further crop, or to cut images from the final story to fit the magazine flow. Once your submissions are accepted they must not be posted online or any social media until the magazine is released.

 

3 – Please send us a link to your work, via Dropbox, etc. *No .zip files, images for download, jpg, etc.*

Please send a gallery link that can be downloaded from with 4-7 of your images sized 8.5 x 11 300 dpi.

4 – COVER IMAGES We get many submissions that are requesting a cover only. Our covers are pre-selected in advance. We must ask that all images considered for a cover are UNSEEN, UNPUBLISHED images to keep our viewers with fresh new images! Please do not get discouraged if you send in something wanting the cover and we ask for it for inside the issue. Our cover images are usually picked at least one to two issues ahead of the one we are working on so even if you are selected for a cover, you may still have to wait a few weeks before it is filled and released. Good luck!

5 – We are always looking for guest writers and bloggers who would like to contribute to the magazine and website. If you are interested in writing or blogging for us please send an fill out form and include writing samples and links to your work, blog or portfolio. We are looking for related articles to be featured and you can write whatever you want as long as it concerns current fashion, we are open to articles on designers, stylists, makeup artists, reviews of collections, current trends, and interviews. Minimum of 500 words. We need high res images to accompany the article.

 

6 – If you are interested in shooting for XMAG send us your concept, and mood-board featuring photographic style, styling, make up and hair along with a link to your website. We are open to already finished editorials as well.

 

Your submission did not fully adhere to our guidelines.

The quality or style of your images were not right for the magazine at the time.

Your images did not fit a certain issue’s aesthetic or season.

Your submission was too similar to another story we were planning to use for the issue.

We reached our maximum page count for that particular issue
