Xposer Magazine was invited to the open workouts at the Denver Easton Training Center and upon showing up, could clearly see, this place was about business. A full training facility, you have the ability to train, jiu jitsu, muay thai, kickboxing and even simulate cage fighting. It’s overwhelming and intimidating if you’ve never had the opportunity to be there before.
Tonight was an amazing opportunity to see these fighters in their natural habitat. Many of them have traveled from far distances to be here early to work on conditioning their bodies to the high altitude.
Focus and attention are mandatory, you have to study your opponents and find their weaknesses, then move upon that. Last night we could watch the strategy between the fighters while they improved their skills individually with their trainers and sparring mates.
In order of appearance tonight was first Sekskan, Hailing from Thailand, sparring with his mate. Sekskan has a real crowd support and killer leg movement. He is known for being a fierce competitor.
Sekskan’s opponent will be Liam Harrison who hails from the United Kingdom, whom we got to see tonight sparring as well. Liam has his own particular style but will provide Sekskan with a good challenge.
Brutal kicks were thrown with force, so much power behind them that I feel each of these fighters are going to provide you with an amazing showcase of their capabilities.
The next two fighters we had the opportunity to watch spar were Superlek hailing from Thailand and Jonathan Haggerty hailing from the United Kingdom. This is a highly anticipated rematch. These two have fought before so I think many fans will be excited to see this main event title match. Impressed by their capabilities, I could clearly see just how powerful their moves were.
One thing I do love is the comradery between the opponents. I personally can’t wait to see this Friday’s event. I hope to see all of you out there showing your support as well!
