LA Story took place this past Saturday, March 4th at MOLAA (Museum of Latin American Art). Produced by Antonio Pelayo, who is known for producing many LA Events. Hosted by Dash Radio Personality Calipso Aranda and Actor Michael Flores. Pop-up art exhibit curated by Pep Williams, featuring The Delinquent Habits East LA’s original hip-hop group celebrating their new album “IT COULD BE ROUND TWO”. LA Story showcased custom Lowrider cars from Lowrider Magazine. Food, vendors, a photo booth and a fashion show by Wardrobe Divas with additional music performances by Thee Commons and DJ Sloe Poke.
The event was a huge success. The live art by Pablo Damas turned out amazing. The Delinquent Habits rocked the stage as soon as they got on from playing new to older songs. Shout-out to Kemo. The Blaxican always showing love. MOLAA recently opened the doors to Chicanos, and it was Antonio Pelayo’s Dream to be able to produce one of his events there. Definitely one for the books. The music, the vibe, the people. So much to do in such little time. We are ready for the next one.
So much great art was exhibited by so many talented artists.
