Growing up in a family of thrill seekers, it was only natural that Eli get pulled that direction as well. Since a very young age he has been on the back of a motorbike, honing his skills getting ready for the days that lie ahead. By the age of 9, Eli was already traveling for races. Something his family was highly supportive of. There came a point in time that you have to make a decision to continue on this path or to break away and live out “being a kid”. That decision came for Eli when he was about 16 years old. He had to make the choice at that time to continue moving towards a career within the motocross world or to just live a normal 16 year olds life and keep this as more of a hobby instead. Eli chose to keep focusing on his future in MTX and his dedication paid off well. In 2010 he turned pro and by 2012 he became the 250SX Western Regional Champion, 2013 brought him the AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class Championship followed by his 2016 Monster Energy Cup win. He has been the only rider in the history of this sport to win his professional debut, something he considers to be one of his fondest memories to this date. In 2018 he became the Monster Energy Cup $1 million dollar winner and also the first rider to two Monster Energy Cups. This year will be his fourth competing in the 450SX class division. You can now start to see why he happens to be such a fan favorite. With such levels of dedication and determination, there is no doubt he has an even brighter future ahead.

Outside of motocross, Eli enjoys mountain biking, racing sports cars around the track and is an avid outdoor sportsman who spends a lot of free time hunting. A Colorado native, it’s obvious he would want to spend a majority of his time not caged inside of a house.

Eli will be competing against many other talented riders but don’t miss out on your chance to see him and all of his amazing action packed talent when Supercross comes to Denver’s own Mile High Stadium April 13th. Eli is one of the many that are super excited to have Supercross finally coming to Denver!! It’s been a long time in the making and finally we can now join in on all the fun.
