Vivienne Hu’s Unconventional Use of Fur Demonstrates Creativity and Edge

Vivienne Hu’s #NYFW

It is always a pleasure to discover up and coming designers who clearly have a place with the “majors” in the fashion industry.  This last fashion season in New York City, Fashion Forward and Xposer Magazine had the pleasure of experiencing the message Vivienne Hu articulates through her collection of work.  Vivienne Hu is a New York based designer with diverse life experience. Before her fashion endeavors she worked in business in the investment banking industry. Her decision of the critical career shift stems from her zeal for fashion and her love of all things creative.

“It is always refreshing to see a designer express their body of work through an unconventional use of fabrics, fabric combinations, patterns or design cuts,” expresses one fashionista.

Her collections exhibit a blend of classic European elegance and New York downtown style, with a touch of exotic Asian taste. Her design concepts cater to women who have a strong sense of independence and a desire for displaying their femininity and personality in a unique way.
