20th Annual Biergarten Festival

20th Annual Biergarten Festival in Morrison, Colorado! This family-friendly cultural event offers traditional German food, crowd-favorite entertainers, music and dance groups, and, of course, four delicious varieties of refreshing Paulaner beer. Performers included Rick Borger and the Average German Band, Chalet Dancers, TEV Edelweiss Schuhplattlers, Peter Kron and Rhinelanders Catering included Chef Neuhold’s authentic German cuisine, Styria Bakery pretzels, Bob’s Roasted Nuts and Repicci Italian Ice. Male and female contested signed up and lined up for the Stein-hoisting contest, which took place on Saturday, the competitors signed up and lined up and then was challenged to hold out at arms length a glass liter beer mug full of water last person holding won! Then there was 1st  annual Dachshund race, which took place on Sunday. Which had several cute and fuzzy racers running for the delight of all of the spectators.

This family-friendly cultural event offered traditional German food, entertainment, live music, dance groups and of course beer. The event was open to the public and provided an atmosphere of German summer family time together, reminiscent of the times families spent in the Biergartens throughout Germany. The event will offer several games and activities for the children. This year’s Beer Garden Festival was be bigger and better than ever before!
